Alamosa Amber

The second label design for the San Luis Valley Brewing Co. was for their Amber Ale. They wanted to stay with the a theme of using a real photo and stylize the rest of the design off of the photo. I used a photo that I took of the Great Sand Dunes National Park with a very “Amber” sunset. Because the Amber Ale is a timeless Ale, I also decided to use a more timeless style to the typeface. The finished design plays well off of the beer it resides on.
