EVOLUTION

I don’t believe in evolution unless we’re talking about design. Design is an organism which continually moves and…. well, evolves. Every time I practice pinstriping I try moving the brush in new ways. I try to tell myself “I usually move the design this way, so let’s try this other way”. This design is a bit out of my wheel house. I usually focus on adding weight with thick and thin elements, but this time I focused on keeping everything consistent as far as line weight and tried a more challenging “wavy” line design. I like the effect and may try to push this into more of my designs.
